Also from what I'v gathered about the Ram 4500, is this only comes in a cab and chassis and I believe the GVWR is over 14K# which would classify as a commercial truck where the Ford F450 has a GVWR or 14K#. It might just come down to which dealer is able to give me a better deal at this time. I priced them both out and MSRP is about same as well.
So the issues are a few, the F450 would have a smaller payload, as the truck is heaver, with the same GVWR.
F450 has a tighter turning radius than the Ram. I know I need to plan a head in tight places.
