The 3500 Ram is a much better choice than getting a 4500 or 5500 Ram because the heavier (vocational) Ram trucks will have much lower power ratings and higher ratio rear ends then what most RVers would want. The f450 has the same 475 hp engine that comes in the f350. Because it has bigger rims/tires and a 10 speed transmission the higher ratio rear end is not a problem.
