Some don't understand that fuel tanks can NOT be run dry
Ditto the in-ability to run them dry
Ditto that they are fitted to specific models
That marketing will have engineering fill it to the brim so that they can
market the size...but in actual usage...can NOT be filled to the brim...reminds
me of the old pingball marketing pitch where they filled the trunk to claim
more than the other guys....
Or that there are now at least one plastic bottle that is part of the fuel
tank 'system' and is for EPA/SMOG control stuff
If I was the dealer...I'd charge for this if it is the correct tank...but
it sounds like this dealer also does NOT understand the above...so taking
the tank out and fill with fuel...
