I also have ordered the last three vehicles and the last two RV's we have owned. You should only deal with fleet or Internet vehicle sales. I prefer fleet since they know trucks better than someone that has to sell the entire line. Expect to pay equal to or less the dealer price before rebates are applied. In the USA, the Ram's dealer price cam be figured off MSRP sticker by discounting the base price by 9% and the options by 15%. Although it called dealer's price, they actually get these vehicles for less due to other incentives through the factory - There is still enough "meat on the bone" for the dealer to make a profit.
I sold my previous vehicles privately so do not have experience with trade ins. Expect 10-12 week deliveries from the time you order. There are exceptions to this delivery window if there are issues on the assembly line or parts problems, so you need to give yourself enough lead time for any trip you may have planned.
