Fall Maintenance
As much as I absolutely HATE to say goodbye to camping for the long Winter, getting the TT ready for cold weather eventually has to be done. Monday is my day off so this past Monday I got my compressor and blew out the water pipes and then took the TT down to my local RV shop for them to do the rest. My checklist was as follows:
When I get it back I will put RV anti-freeze in all the pea traps and in the black tank, and then put on my wheel covers and cover my power jack for the Winter.
The trees here in Easter Oregon have only just begun to lose their leaves and I'm already longing for Spring! :)
What does your Fall check-list look like?
- Check roof
- Re-pack wheel bearings
- Check brakes
- Clean and lube slide
- Replace exterior rubber gasket around bedroom door (it fell off this past Summer during one of our travels)
