How about the vent open switch? There's a plunger switch that keeps the fan from running when it's closed. It could be stuck in.
Refer to this discussion where they mention that plus show a picture. The fuse is by the rotary switch.

Ours doesn't have the temperature knob but otherwise looks the same.
