The fantastic fan in our 2007 alaskan was a factory install,I assume in a standard 14x14 opening.It works great.The on off and speed control are in the same knob right on the fan.By rotating the knob,fan speed is gradually increased from very slow to high just like a light dimmer switch. At max speed I found it quite noisy however it is so efficient a slightly lower speed worked well enough.
