Fantastic Service Alert!!! RICH FORD in Albuqurque NM

We were traveling back from the Overland Expo and Grand Canyon last week about 14 miles west of Albuquerque NM on I-40 when the hose on my turbo blew off. The hose clamp had broken but the hose remained in intact. I had a few heater hose clamps in my tool bag so i put a few together and put the hose back on. ...Unbelievable how hot those turbos get.

Bottom line we made it into Albuquerque. We were talking to Rich Ford about replacement parts and they said they could help with a wrecker for the truck and camper if that became necessary.

By the time we got there it was after hours but they were waiting on us. Mechanic installed the new hose and checked everything out for us and we were on our way in less than two hours....

If you need help in Albuquerque with a ford, please consider giving these guys a call. Ask for Tony or Jacob...they'll take care of you. They go the extra mile to take care of people who are traveling, even if it is after hours....

    Congrats on finding good service.

Pretty common thing. They pop off or break fairly regular. You may want to buy a couple more clamps to keep on hand.

For anyone with a Powerstroke, getting these is almost a must. You'll never have to worry about blowing boots again. Pricey, but worth it

Good advice. I have the old hose and two clamps as spares. Thanks!
