Dang those things have gotten expensive. I bought mine when they were much cheaper, but I still had to buy them a pair at a time to keep the boss happy.
Brad, I think if I were needing tiedowns today I would look seriously at the Torklift Springload XLTurnbuckles at $180 a pair. As nice as the fast guns are, you do still have to tweek the adjustments of each one every time you load the camper. It never seems to end up in exactly the same spot, and that affects how long each tiedown needs to be.
Oh, and yes.....go with four springloaded turnbuckles no matter which type you choose.
