1. I hate Tunkwa. Nice campground and everything, but the **** fish just jump all around you and I can't catch one of them. Ticks me off everytime I've been there.
2. Don't go to Kettle River Provincial campground. It burned to the ground yesterday.
Most of the Provincial sites are real nice, no power or hookups. Google Discover Camping for the reservation system. Don't expect to get a spot in a lot of them without reservations. If there is a spot with power (for example Kekuli Bay) stay away from the powered sites. Packed in like sardines while the rest of the campground is spacious.
