First, let me say I'm pro Outfitter.
If you search through the Outfitter videos there is one describing the all-composite body and it details the composite reinforcing blocks. I have no knowledge or experience about its ability to hold lag screw threads or withstand compression created by a machine bolt with nut and washer. I'm a detail guy so I would certainly want to understand the composite properties. Check with Bob Ward and ask for engineering specs.
What I do know is a "through bolt" captured by a nut and washer has better holding power than just a screw fastener. Anything using tapered spiral threads has a tendency to "back out" when frequently stressed.
To hold my jacks...I'd ask for machine bolts going through a one piece aluminum block.
