Seems to me your least expensive way to go is put stock tires/wheels back on your truck or else re gear it. I re geared my truck from 373 to 430 after putting 35" tires on it. I bet you could find a very nice TC for your truck, short bed and all especially for 2 trips per year.
My storage facility has the same rule, everything has to roll except TC's are exempt. You might ask them specifically about the TC.
