When you cut rotors your removing material. when that happens you are removing material that helps remove heat. on a HD truck that will be towing this is a bad way to go!
Rotors are cheap, however don`t go to cheap. cheap rotors are junk and will pit and rust very fast. Rotors for my X cost around $70 for the good ones!
