Did you not get a quote before the work started?
Me, I either just put new pads on MYSELF, or replace the rotors and pads, again, MYSELF.
How much is that job worth to you? If you paid more than it's worth to you, too bad so sad.

Start doing the work and buying the tools yourself or research and get quotes.
FWIW, you got a pretty average price for a brake job.
