The shop's rate was $125 so you are saying that removing all tires/wheels and calipers, replacing ebrake pads and turning front rotors can be done in less then an hour. You are hired!! Where do we line up to get all that work done?
To turn the rotors would take longer, that's been my whole point. Usually not cost effective because it takes longer to do. I'm quoting to replace rotors with new. Any mechanic with a hoist and proper tools can pull 4 wheels and calipers, replace rotors (with new) and swap pads in under an hour. Go for the full hour at $125 and it still makes sense to go with new rotors.
