A few years ago I replaced the camshaft speed sensor in our '01 Durango based on the OBD code. $27 and a couple of minutes. Couple of days later DW called to say "it's doing it again". I was out of town working so I told her to take it to Chrysler and let them put a crankshaft speed sensor in it. The part is less than $50 and if I remember right, was one 10mm bolt and a plug connector with nothing in the way. The bill was over $300. I think you got a fair deal for the work done. The campers we pull behind us are a rip-off.
