Not many machine shops would even consider dealing with microns, nor 'CAN'
mill in microns
It will NOT be carbide/diamond/etc cutting edges...but photonic or ion milling...
Braking, as with most things, does NOT have a one size fits all
Thermal mass (both thermal and rotating inertia) is not critical to
the normal soccer mom out there, nor most but the higher end who
needs/wants that added thermal management metric
Flatness, concentrically, parallelism, surface finish, etc is both subjective
and actually needed
Back to the OP's....that is a normal mid range price and dependent on the
local labor rates, the overhead of that shop, the competency of the shop/mechanic/etc
and finally to the vehicle.
My 8.6K Sub has to have the hub removed and that is about a 4 hour job or more
if those four bolts are rusted on (typical)
