The Jeep Cherokee is moving to Belvedere, Ill. The Jeep Patriot is moving to Mexico a lower volume vehicle than the Cherokee by far! Stop with the BS Tnutz! Go out in the boat salmon fishing and drink a beer!

I thought Chrysler was going to stop producing the Jeep Patriot. I think this has been planned on and off for a number of years, but the Patriot just seems to keep plugging away.
So the Patriot will continue to be made, but in Mexico. I'm assuming it will still be sold in the USA and Canada ? Wonder how many more model years the Patriot will be made, with little change ? Think production started in 2007.
My son bought a Patriot Trail Rated, 4 WD in April, 2014. There have been a few things that needed repair, but generally he has been quite happy with this versatile little rig.
I think the Jeep Patriot doesn't seem to get the respect it should. It's a tough, little vehicle that with the optional Trail Rated package can handle difficult, traction limited situations.
