Fifth Wheel Hauler Bodies
I'm pretty new to the rv world. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the fifth wheel hauler bodies that are mounted on chassis cabs vs just having the standard truck bed? Thanks.

Steel hauler beds are heavy so you loose carrying capacity, aluminum is very pricey. My custom utility bed only weighs 400 lbs more than the stock bed and is lower than the stock bed. It has more storage than a hauler bed, costs less. Oh, it is 12 yrs old and on the second truck.
