While your Husky may be a good hitch, I'd not make due by adapting to the puck system. Sell the Husky, buy the B&W for GM OEM puck system. The B&W for your app/non-slider, is not heavy at all. Two pieces 75-80 lbs each, easy in/easy out. You will be glad you spent the difference, first time you drop it in the pucks.
