I buy the 2.5 gal DEF containers, however it a PITA to fill from that container. I transfer 1 gallon of the DEF at a time to a 1 gallon dedicated DEF (plastic red gas can)I have and use a long funnel to transfer to the fill hole. Yes it takes a little more time, but hey I'm retired and have the time. Besides this procedure eliminates any spill potential.
