The 4l80's have several weak links that need to be addressed . Boost valve, pressure overrun issues, main bolts that hold the courier assemblies in place. Those are just the ones I can remember , since I haven't rebuilt one in a few years now. Think transgo has the rebuild kit to fix those issues.
