... don't be in to big of a hurry on the heavy stuff... concrete doesn't reach full strength for 28 days. You don't want to build stress cracks in it now... even if they don't show now they'll eventually allow water in the fine cracks to freeze and expand... cause spalling.
when I was talking about Tom's lighting a few days ago I didn't realize how much I depend on the "Inverse Square Law" as I get older... I put much more distance between me and things I don't like than I used to. It really deminishes my irratation
Tom's high bay garage now has simple strip floresent lights all the way around at the 8' level... mounted with their base flat to the wall... they are the cheapest ones with no reflector... the light shines up 8 feet as well as it does down 8' to the floor and the 8' toward the center of the garage, It made a huge difference.
