I think that most of us will enjoy updates for years to come... as you add new things, modify some things.
We'll want to see how it works out in cold weather...
I see that you have positioned a couple of lawn chairs in your "Man Cavern" (anyone can have a man cave). We'll wan't to see how that evolves.
I like the way you think... you seem to adapt to chages almost seamlessly.
Thank you again very much for allowing us to be cyber participants.

I'm sure there'll be some update-worthy events from time to time, and if you'd like to hear about them I'd be happy to post them.
As for how it works out in cold weather, this winter it's going to be cold. I have plans to install a gas heater from the ceiling in the lower bay, but that (and the mini-split for the new living area) is being put off for now. The old garage had no insulation and no heat either, so nothing has changed there. Gotta ease into the pampered life slowly, you know. If I did it all at once I probably couldn't take it anyway. :p
I like that you've noticed the extra space I've built in the upper bay. There's a purpose for it. Actually, there are several purposes. One is just that we consider the garage to be another living area of the house. We wanted room to put a couple of chairs, a table, the garage fridge, maybe a TV. Some might say it's just "wasted space", but those are the people who have to walk sideways around their cars because the garage is so cramped. Like Leona Helmsley said: "Only the little people pay taxes and have puny garages!" Or something like that :W.
If I was posting this on one of the T-Bird forums, I bet they would know what the extra space would be good for :W. Can you guess? I'll post a picture tomorrow to show you. The old garage was kinda cramped at certain times of the year.

Great looking project, look forward to seeing more news updates.
Looking forward to a nice paved spot with power, when Rose & I, come to visit, in the next 18 months, From Western Australia, ok?
Sounds good to me. I'm a little off the beaten path for most Australian and European tourists to the US, but if you find yourself in the Little Rock, Arkansas area I would enjoy meeting you. :B

Very, very nice! Kind of like having kids, except the costs are front end loaded! Enjoy it!
Coincidentally, I made a similar analogy just recently. I was talking to a friend about the project, and the fact that it's been an expensive undertaking. I told him that the amount this has cost has been like the parents who fund their children's college, a masters program, a doctorate, and maybe a divinity degree on top of that. But you know what? After all that, what do they have? A smart-a$$ kid. Me? I've got a garage! :B
