I can almost smell the wood... and the asphalt.
Sleepy
I can smell the paint too.
Thanks for the photos.
Looks like you put the windows in the RV bay at the perfect height!
Yeah, I don't know why but I've always liked the smell of fresh asphalt. It's probably toxic, but I don't care. I still like it.
The paint (Sherwin Williams) is pretty mild smelling compared to the primer they used. Good gawd that stuff stank! That must mean it's good stuff. I was glad when they covered it up.
This is one of the reasons we wanted a little extra space in the upper bay. There are only two times of the year around here that are good for convertibles. Spring and fall, with fall being the best. When we took the tops off of both cars and set them on their stands, the old garage was a little cramped. I know this probably seems strange to some, but just remember that there are enthusiasts for just about every type of car out there, and the lengths they will go to indulge their obsessions are almost limitless. These two birds are our 5th and 6th, and my next one is going to be a '55 or '56 model.

We just took the film and stickers off all the windows today. The unobscured view is fantastic. Putting the windows in the RV bay up high like that was one of my better ideas. Like Super Dave said, we live in a great campsite! A lot of the undeveloped land around us will stay undeveloped. My backyard adjoins a 1500 acre city park that's undisturbed forest around my property, and about 250 acres of pasture that belongs to my neighbor. He has no interest in selling, so it's going to remain a pasture and pecan tree orchard.
The boss has already made herself a comfortable corner in the new room.

I'm not sure about the cat though. She seems tense to me.
