They look and work great.
Cold won't be a problem for the lights once the insulation and sheetrock (and heater?) are installed.
I'm sure you have a plan for the garage door and motor hanging brackets while you put up the sheetrock.
Thanks Cal. I have plans for a gas fired heater hanging from the ceiling in the lower bay. There's a gas line I need to get over into the garage first though. There's one in the attic over the kitchen, which is next to the new room on top of the upper bay.
The lift motor and track supports will have to be disconnected when the ceiling is put in. I'll have to rig up some temporary supports for them, which shouldn't be too hard. I watched the installer put them up.

The newest LED on the market is the Cree 60W equivalant, it is only available from Home Depot.
... they are $12.97 each.
I'm going to have to look for those bulbs the next time I'm at HD, Sleepy. At that price, I can buy one and try it out. All of my photocell controlled lights would be good candidates for those.

NRALIFR,
Your garage is looking so sharp I am also envious of it. I have been following along with the build and am super impressed, I know it has been a lot of work to get to this point but you can sit back and congratulate yourself and your wife on a great job of bringing it together. I also like seeing the 2 Tbirds setting in their place in the shop. They are looking good also. They must almost be lost in that huge upper garage.
I never realized you were in Little Rock, I somewhat one of your neighbors in Bentonville, AR. Howdy neighbor!!!!
Howdy Butch, and thanks. :)
The boss and I really like all the extra room around the Tbirds. I've joked with her about driving a car in one door, doing a U-turn inside the garage and driving out the other door. I'm going to have to try that someday. :b
I like that we have ample door-swing room for the car doors, and plenty of space to store the hard tops when they're off the cars. I've also got a nice, wide walking path through the garage that I can use to carry large/long items without having to move a car out first, and I've got enough room to keep a couple chairs set up all the time for man pow-wows. It's more like a large, enclosed patio that we also use to park our cars.
