Thank you Moose10, I hope to have some progress reports to post later this spring. Ive been spending most of my free time working on my camper repairing some water damage. But, even that has slowed down recently because the boss just had shoulder surgery and I'm doing my best to be her home-nurse. I hate the uniform. :W
I've been to North Pole a few years back visiting a friend of mine from the USAF. In fact, the spoon in my coffee canister that I use daily came from the North Pole Coffee Roasting Co. He's retired from the AF now, but still living and working up there. He goes by "Stosh", and has a young son who's a heck of a hockey player on a local team. Do you know him by chance? I need to make it back up there one of these days, and and drive it this time. The last time we drove to Seattle, flew to Anchorage, and took the tourist train to Fairbanks. We really enjoyed the trip.
I've been monitoring the number of views this topic continues to get, and it's pretty amazing to be honest. It consistently gets 40-50 views a day despite the fact that between updates, it drops waaaaaay down the list of topics in the TC forum. I'm happy so many have found it interesting. I'm ecstatic all that major commotion is behind us, most of all!
