Good to see that you are still at it... The retractable screen looks very nice.
The skirt on the TC looks good from here... any thing learned as you completed that project?
Looking forward to more...

Thanks Chet. I'm happy with the way they turned out.
I wish Lance would have included some instructions with the replacement parts. For as much as they cost (about $300 a side with shipping) you'd think you would get more than just a box of materials. I'd really like to see an 1121 that has had the skirts replaced either by Lance or a dealer. I'm curious about whether I handled the seam in the filon correctly. I can't think of a way to replace the skirt panels WITHOUT cutting the filon about 6" higher than the factory seam. And, assuming that's the correct way to do it, I think they should have included some new flat molding to cover that seam that's now longer than the old molding. I spent several hours searching the internet for a supplier.
I'd also like to know how they handle the wires running through the driver-side skirt panel behind the commode. Do they cut them and splice back together, or do like I did and cut the panel?
Oh well, I figured it out as best I could. I could probably do another one a little faster now. I hope by using the spar-urethane on all the raw wood, I won't have to find out. :W
One thing I learned is that no matter how hard you try to squish the butyl tape from behind the aluminum edge trim in the winter, as soon as it warms up more will come out, pushing the caulk loose. I've had to re-caulk several areas. :(
