So, you will be looking for a used camper? Will that particular model be hard to find?
The 915 was extremely popular during all years of it's production so fairly easy to find and also reasonably priced. There are 5 units within about 800 miles so not bad.
What rear end gearing did you get, 3:73 or 4:10?
Thought long and hard on this. Using a gear chart, I could compare the RPMs between 3.73, 4.10 and my CTD w/3.73. Finally realized that it didn't really matter which gears I went with, I would have to learn the new sweet spot for gear/rpm/speed that I enjoy sightseeing. So went with the 3.73 to increase fuel economy when running empty which could be as much as 50% of the time. Worst planned case is the 3500# camper and a 2,800# boat so no worries there.
