Don't have tie downs on the rear, have hauled it like this since 2008 on a 2008 with this service body, never had any trouble with it moving around but i am trying to figure a way to do it now that i am going into the States. Never have carried a spare but i am sure one would fit into the front bin (uses too much valuable real-estate).
