That's a beauty. Going from 1/2 ton gas to diesel is profound indeed. People ask me about it and I best describe it as being effortless towing now. You wont worry about every hill and how slow you will be going or how fast the gas engine was spinning when downshifting for hills.
As Knowels said I would check the tires as with the diesel I have had a tendency to drive at the speed limit rather than 60. I think that 21,000 pounds was doing just over 80 one time and felt like it could do it all day long. I kept picturing epdm peeling back. :)
