Yes, either a Suburban 2500 or an Excursion would be much more suitable. Just beware the Suburbans have some hitch constraints. The 2007+ ones have a 1,000# limit and can't be easily upgraded. The older ones have factory hitch susceptible to failure, but at least it's an easy swap to a much stronger aftermarket Class-5 hitch receiver.
