But when those turbos (gas or diesel) start spinning, that engine is working just as hard as a naturally aspirated gas engine. I've never understood the argument that diesel is "effortless"... its working just as hard and sucking down twice as much fuel when that turbo starts winding up... It just sounds quieter. Means nothing about the level of effort being used...
