The factory 5er hitch mounts are just about the best thing the OEM's have started putting in these trucks. Now that we have them I can't understand what took so long for them to make an option. After all, people buy these trucks to tow so having the factory options makes all the sense in the world.
The aftermarket suppliers have been great over the years, but the new OEM systems are just fantastic. Easy in, easy out, and the hitch mounting points are directly over the frame. Gotta love it.
