Nice truck, I have the 2015 version. I know Cummins 12v98 isn't a fan of the 3:73s but I have no problem with them. Wait to get on some of the longer grades, you're REALLY going to appreciate that Cummins AND the awesome engine brake!
You'll probably find yourself smiling every time you get in it to drive, I do. LOVE my truck :B
Dan
I am sure the 3.73's will work fine, I am going with my experience with 3.42's and 4.10's.
As far as love the truck, he!! yea! Just Double/Triple towed from SoCal to AZ and back and hit the scales with a combined 35,340#!!! Honestly it towed no different! Just had to think about where you are going as to not get in a spot where you have to back up.
Coming West on 10 toward Palm springs there is a long 6 percent or so grade, I just locked it in 4th with cruise at 60 and came down with zero brake hits.
Sweet Ron, glad to hear you're double towing! Gotta LOVE that engine brake!
The OP is going to be so happy when he hits his first decent grade, up or down, that's where these newer 3500/350s shine.
Dan
It was something different to do. Some different things to think about for sure. Friends were behind us both ways and said the MC trailer tracked very well.
guess I should investigate a good camera to mount to back of RV as friends wont always be behind me!
Go get you a boat and go fishing. My boat, other than a couple times a year gets towed down the road by my fifthwheel. My fifthwheel other than bringing it home from the dealer has never been towed without the boat behind it.
