First extended trip with new Host
First off I wanted to thank those that answered all my questions over the last almost year as we transitioned from 5th Wheel to TC. Also some of the changes I have made were suggested by fourm members...

I've been using vent covers for years. It allows you to drive with the vent open and leave the vent open when it rains (which is common in my area). This is the model I installed from Camco which comes in black, smoke or white:
Our cab over is darker for two reasons: I have the full wall wardrobe on the passenger side and I have a Fantastic Fan instead of the Heki. Over the fantastic fan, I have a black Aero Flo cover which also cuts down on the light coming in.

The window cover looks like a good idea where the leading edge is facing forward, but I worry about it scooping air if it is on the trailing edge and tearing itself apart. Anyone have long term experience with these?
I have been thinking about vent covers but I haven't had a chance yet to install them and I wanted to get an accurate height measurement before adding anything to the roof ,Bedlam do you know what your height is or your highest point on the roof when on your truck with the flatbed?
