First extended trip with new Host
First off I wanted to thank those that answered all my questions over the last almost year as we transitioned from 5th Wheel to TC. Also some of the changes I have made were suggested by fourm members...

We have spent about 25 nights in out Host since I picked it up. The detector has not gone off, but there was an off smell from the heater until it burned off during the first and second trips. The inboard LPG line to the bottle was too short on our Mammoth which made connections tough and the possibility of kinking the line or stressing the hose terminations. Apache RV replaced this line with a longer one and it is much better.
On an off note, you should have received a letter from Host about a retrofit kit for the master power cutoff. It includes some wire hooks to keep the wires from catching under the slide mechanism and a master safety breaker that is to be added to the battery compartment.
