BTW if I use the "instant Lie-o-meter" @ 70 it shows 26 MPG on a flat level highway. Drop down to 55 and it makes only 2 more MPG? For those interested the truck is reporting lower avg MPG readings then hand calc. by 2/3 MPG!

I've read numbers of 50 mpg or more for vehicles that never get over 30 mpg. In short, anything can be listed online. As long as you're drag racing your truck and running @ 80 mph as you've posted - anything above 10 mpg at those driving conditions is gravy. Why are you driving at 80 mph, anyway? :h It sounds like it's over the speed limit anyway.
