I've had the TRD SC, headers, and dual exhaust on my 2000 4.7 since 2003 due to the fact that I was really running the engine hard in our western mountains pulling our 5600 TT. The SC/exhaust kit really made a huge difference and a much more comfortable drive. I no longer had to shift down two gears to climb a 6% grade and I didn't have to go full throttle going up on ramps.
I no longer have the TT, put I still enjoy punching the Tundra just to hear that SC whine, sweet exhaust sounds, and the great accelleration. After 12 years, the engine and trans are both doing just fine, thank you.
