We researched campers for YEARS before buying. We went to the 3 major RV shows around us (Hershey, Dulles and Timonium) for about 3 years before we bought. We had already been inside a unit, knew what options we wanted, what colors we wanted, what wheels the wife wanted, etc. I would never buy sight unseen.
