I agree with buying used. Just do a careful inspection on something that interests you. There are a lot of good deals available, you just have to look. Don't be in a hurry.
Another possible plus when buying from a private party. You may get a lot of 'extras' that do not come with a new RV. Especially if the seller is getting out of RVing.
