We call ours the Escape Pod. We've used it here in off-grid AZ when we need the microwave or convection oven when it's been cloudy or it's too hot to turn on the oven in the house, like last night. I just opened up all three garage doors (two for the trailer and one for the Jeep and Tahoe), put the gennie outside and plug in. If it's cloudy we don't need A/C in the house.
Like you, when we lived in Hermosa, we didn't have A/C. We had a new neighbor who came over and said that he called the realtor and complained that the house didn't have A/C. We told him that no one did. :D
