The problematic Ford diesels since the 7.3L have unfortunately put the misconception out there that all diesels are bad.
Lets not confuse the 5.9 cummins with the 6.7 cummins :W
Gas trucks and the non emissions diesel engines (i.e. 5.9 and 7.3) just don't have the complexity of todays emissions compliant diesel and the day will come when those emissions and injectors will bite you big time $$$$.
BTW... My Ford 6.7 PSD will be 5 years old next month and has117k miles and so far has had one repair to date (a Nox sensor).
