To answer some of the tune questions: It is my understanding that the 5 Star tune for the 6.2 does two things - changes the shift points, and opens the throttle body plate 100% at tip in versus 50% on the OEM tune. There are negligible HP or TQ gains with the DAILY/TOW tune. The performance tunes may be a different story. Yes I did see a performance gain but only because the RPMs are used more effectively at different shifts. The gain at tip in simply improves power at takeoff - but the power is no different than the stock tune, it just comes in at a different point. I did have warranty work done on the EB and the dealer could care less that it had a tune, aftermarket intercooler, or a catch can. Thanks for those made relevant comments to my original post.
