No I'm not a vegan and don't live in a City. Your characterizations aren't going to be accurate nor well intentioned.
I've probably done a lot more hunting and fishing than most on this Forum. I've also lived on farms so I'm familiar with different aspects of pest removal.
What I don't get is that you take the family camping and your first post with a picture of your campground depicts a semi-automatic pistol, a knife, and what might be a couple of batons. You further state that but for lack of hearing protection, you would be shooting ground squirrels in the campground. Your next post is that the boys will also be armed and shooting in the campground on your next trip.
As far as I'm concerned, you can shoot anything that's legal in the areas open for hunting. Teach your kids how to handle firearms and hunt with them, it's a great past time. I'm also of the opinion that a campground isn't the right place to do any of this. You weren't in a State Park by any chance?
