Thanks for the reply. I haven't pulled mine "uphill" much yet but around these parts, it's pretty much unavoidable. We like to go east of the mountains and that's a pass no matter how you slice it.
You're right about the Tundra power... And I'm even considering putting a supercharger on it. But, as many people will say, payload is the weakest link. From everything I've calculated, I'm within limits but you just never know how the rigs will work with each other til you start lugging the trailer over a hill.
Pretty good that you were only at 6900# with all that lead you were hauling'... ;) sorry, couldn't resist.
Have a great time with the family in that rig and many safe travels. It's a beauty of a trailer and not a bad choice in tow vehicles either.
