First trip

So been dragging my feet getting this up. Sorry, lots of work and enjoying our camper! We went local, to try it out and see how the truck would handle the load.

This is outside of Mill City near the horse camp. Being this weekend was opening bow season, we tried to stay out of the hunters way.

TC worked great! It rained most of the weekend. We didn't even turn on the furnace, slept with windows open most of the night. Not sure if it was the awesome Northwood insulation, the five people and dogs heat or if it was the 50 degree weather but haven.t had an RV yet that this was the case. The rear awning was nice, and we didn't even pull down the batteries but a few percent. Leds are awesome!

We are happy to report no issues and we are happy!

Never heard of it but we are up for anything! Got a TR?

Oh and we averaged 14.1 mpg on the 60 miles round trip, went slow but impressive. That was on my tow tune, 375 horse.

  • now take that rig and head over to Hosmer Lake just west of La Pine on the Cascade Lakes Highway
  • It is Frank! But we like it this way...we are buying thing based on weight, like our LED lamps for outside, solar powered, inflatable, and only 3.9 ounces.

Its cool to be this way and not just load up the toyhauler with "everything".
  • Heheh, looking like a full house there...
