Thanks for all the good words. We wouldn't have been able to afford the upgrade if it weren't for the exceptional deals out there right now. We figured that we would end up with a 2013 leftover(which would have been just fine!), but were shocked to do so well with a 2014. The dealer had a huge stock of F350's. Apparently, trucks aren't selling so well around here. The dealer (who must think we are crazy) is treating us extra well due to the fact that this is the 3rd vehicle in less than 18 months. Also, we got a very aggressive interest rate (about half of the rate for the F150).
Obviously, this isn't for everyone. I was sure we would strike out when we tried. I certainly had no intention of getting a diesel. That is massive overkill. The dealer doesn't even stock gas superduty trucks. No one seems to want them new or used. The only downside is the color. My wife loved the bright blue of the F150. The new truck is a very cool (to me) grey. They don't offer the 350 in her color. The truck is her daily driver. Mine is a red Mustang (g).
