Flagstaff/rock wood Front window leaking.

I have a 2018 FlagstaffK 29KSWS with the large windshield type window in front. It looks like it was installed crooked by the factory which has caused it to leak. Looking for information on removing it resealing and reinstalling it. I have done side windows before but never one like this. I was wondering if anyone has done one and knows if it’s installed like a windshield with just sealant or with foam gasket and a trim ring on the inside. There is no wall it’s just a thin front cap where it’s installed. Thanks for any suggestions. I took it to the local RV shop where it’s sat for 6 weeks without being worked on so I’m just going to do it myself.
  • Just use a little Lexell and be done, the stuff lasts forever.
  • When you say, "installed crooked," do you mean one side looks higher than the other? Or something else?
  • I've got a 19 Rockwood with that front window.. On mine, it looks like from the outside, there is just a 'rubber gasket' around the perimeter of the window. It must be screwed in from the inside? It's covered right now, and all the slides are in and I can't get to the window from the inside at this moment..

But, I've not had any leaks on it.. I don't like the window in general, as it's just another hole in the trailer that serves no purpose because it's right in the bedroom and I've already put black out curtains on it to keep the light out.. It's right over your head!

Anyway, that will give me something to look at when I take the cover off and can take a closer look at it!
