Well it looks like I have found a couple more flakey dealers. The first one I call about a unit on their web site sold it 4 days ago?The second one also sold and not removed from their web site. Is this a typical game to get you to call and then UP SELL you to a unit coming in for more money?? OR is this just bad business.Being in business myself, I wonder how bad the industry really is.I mean is this a wAlmART SELF SERV Industry. OR WHAT??I do not sell RV's and could kick all of their buts in customer service and updates.I'm loosing faith :(

Summer is a time for vacations and it's possible that they have't had a chance to update their website. We've run into similar problems over the years. Years ago I listened to a wise old camper and he told me to stop in at the dealers waiting room and speak to the people having a repair made and ask them questions about pre and post sale customer service. Only time it failed me was when Open Range was sold and refused to support warranty work. The dealer helped as much as possible but not to my satisfaction due to limits from the company who took over Open Range. To settle the issue I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement for a cash settlement.

I found that it is not uncommon for dealers to be tardy about removing sold inventory from their listings. Drove two hundred miles out of my way to visit a dealer in Louisiana before they "discovered" their error.

It really does not matter if the TT dealer is lazy or busy. If you know what you want and the price you will pay, tell the dealer.Buying a TT should not be a race or tricky. This is what you want, this is what you will pay; anything more comes out of the dealer's pocket.They will either have what you want or they will not.The dealer will not sell at a loss.

When we went used truck shopping, we went to a couple dealers to look at trucks they had advertised (fortunately they were local dealers) one sales guy spent 10 minutes looking for a truck only to come back and say it had been sold 2 months ago. I think they just leave them up so you'll come in.... the supreme irony, when we bought our used trailer we didn't print a copy of the ad for it, when we went in to pick it up we asked if they could print a copy of the ad, they had already taken it down...

We have a winner.
Many organizations with websites pay for others to service them. Many times it is cheaper to just have it done on a scheduled basis. Having a website service on call to make every little change on a real time basis would be the most expensive way to do it.

the "Flaky" dealer would have you
come on down" without telling you it sold they are either short staffed or selling units so fast they can't keep up with the website....

...and they probably have as many or more units that they haven't gotten onto the web site yet that might meet your exact requirements.
